On April 20, we enjoyed the first speaker luncheon of 2022 with Kaspars Rozkalns, Director of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia who spoke on sustainable innovations, investment results of 2021 and the U.S. investments in Latvia. He also touched upon the recent events including Spotlight Latvia and Trade Mission to San Francisco and Los Angeles, launch of the LIAA representative office in Boston and Toronto and upcoming 3SI Business Forum. Fredis Bikovs, new Managing Director of Riga Investment and Tourism Agency joined the Q&A session to take members' questions.

Read all >On April 3, the Latvian American Chamber of Commerce and Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) organized a special LIAA representative office opening event in Boston. Reinis Nikolajs Sīpols will be heading the new office. The office was opened by Janis Vitenbergs, Minister of Economy and Kaspars Rozkalns, LIAA Director. On April 5, LIAA opened another representative office in North America, based in Toronto, Canada.

This year's agenda included topics related to entertainment, multimedia and technology and numerous panel discussions on Latvian technology and startups, virtual reality and gaming projects, opportunities and assistance for filmmaking as well as production and postproduction.
