Cytec Latvia has joined the Chamber as a Corporate Contributing member. Cytec Industries Inc. is a global specialty chemicals and materials company focused on developing, manufacturing and selling value-added products. Their products serve a diverse range of end markets including aerospace, adhesive, automotive and industrial coatings, chemical intermediates, inks, mining and plastics.  As part of its long-term strategy Cytec Industries Inc. has decided to establish a scalable support organization by setting up a Shared Service Center in Riga, Latvia, for the purpose to provide support services to subsidiaries of Cytec Industries Inc. in North America and Europe, in the field of finance and accounting, human resource management, IT helpdesk, procurement and data management. In the Chamber will be represented by Egbert Boerrigter, Director.
 
Jekabs Gzibovskis has joined the Chamber as a Student member. He has just finished his second year at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration in program of European Business Studies. He s a manager of Saulkrasti Jazz Festival. He has been involved in organization of this event for 13 years. Moreover, Jekabs has been partly involved in helping to manage EEA Grants project LV0040 - Developing and delivering innovative training modules for Baltic executives using an interdisciplinary approach to entrepreneurship and advanced technologies.
 
 
 
Adrienne De Geer joined the Chamber as an Individual member. Adrienne has a degree from Sweden in Business Communication. Between 2002 to 2006, she has lived in Ukraine, where she worked as Communication Manager for Tetra Pak Ukraine. The time in Eastern Europe resulted in an increased knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility and philanthropic governance. Adrienne has spent the latest years focusing on strengthening her knowledge in CSR, combining it with her experience in Corporate Communication. Before leaving Sweden she worked as a consultant for a Swedish consultancy firm, ETHOS International, specializing in CSR and GRI (Global Reporting Initiative). During her time at ETHOS International Adrienne worked with the GRI framework and took an active part in the reporting process.
