Update on FICIL`s activities

FICIL is preparing for the annual High Council meeting on 25 and 26 May and would like to update members on the status of its work groups and encourage to join them.

Care Mobile welcomes it's 25 000th patient

On the March 22nd Care Mobile together with doctors from Children's Clinical University Hospital of Latvia is visiting Madona to greet it's 25 000th patient since program launch in 2011.

More than 50 AmCham members and guests attended luncheon with Edward Lucas to hear his views on conflict with Russia and its impact on Latvia.

Susan Danger, CEO of AmCham EU spoke on the latest studies on business and investment climate in Europe: The EU Single Market and The Transatlantic Economy.

At the Annual General Meeting, the membership selected a new board. Zinta Jansons of Ellex Klavins was elected for her first term. Re-elected for their third term were an individual member Eriks Eglitis, Arnis Kakulis of AECOM, Janis Meija of RigaReno.com. At the next Board meeting the Chamber's officials will be selected.

More than 80 members with their guests spent an excellent opening night of the new production "Carmen" at the Latvian National Opera and Ballet.
