He touched upon the role of strategic communications in NATO, reducing the risks of disinformation and change in cyberthreat landscape.
Read all >On June 2, Swedbank hosted Business After Hours for AmCham members engaging them in a discussion about high inflation and other challenges that our economy is currently facing such as energy prices, disruption of the global supply chain, wage growth, and broad-based government support. Members enjoyed both excellent wine and food as well as an excellent panorama view of Riga from the 25th floor of Swedbank HQ building.

Other topics members touched upon were OECD project on supporting employers to promote skills development in Latvia and latest conferences held in May on labor force issues "Future of Jobs" and the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.

The panel discussion was joined by AmCham members Liga Paulina of Dynatech, Toms Kalderovskis of SAF Tehnika and Kristaps Krafte of Vigo Health. The discussion was followed by networking among members and EMBA and MBA student delegations from the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Tarty Delta Management School.
Read all >On May 19, about 70 members and guests enjoyed the Exclusive Opera Night and the premiere of the opera “Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a kick-off reception at Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga. It was a great evening of music, novelty and great company. Opera Night has become one of the key highlight events of AmCham since 2014.
