The healthcare work group discussed an online event on personal protective equipment, webinar with healthcare professionals, the next steps related to the Oncology data project as well as AmCham’s participation in the work groups of the Ministry of Health.

25 members joined the webinar with Janis Klovins, Director of Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre and Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Latvia to find out more on the coronavirus research progress and potential outcomes. The webinar was moderated by Kaspars Losans, Medical Director of Roche Latvija.

In partnership with Tatarklubben, AmCham held the second virtual event. This time members had a chance to meet Alex Lazarow from Cathay Innovation. He gave an insight into his new book “Out-Innovate” in the current perspective and introduced members with the new innovation playbook to survive during the pandemic.

Thanks to ACE Network our members had an opportunity to join the first-ever online discussion on the topic of the COVID-19 crisis and how businesses across Europe and Eurasia are responding to challenges. Speakers outlined top key issues to focus on: solidarity, mental strength, and stability, good leadership, bravery, the cooperation of science and politics, and resilience.
