  SEB, Swedbank, airBaltic, Cognizant RISEBA among top CSR companies

  Five AmCham members have been recognized by the Sustainability Index 2022: SEB bank and Swedbank achieved Diamond, airBaltic and RISEBA – Gold and Cognizant – Silver. The Institute for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (InCSR) has been evaluating corporate sustainability and responsibility of companies in Latvia for 13 years in a row. For the first time in the history of the Sustainability Index four companies have reached the Diamond category of InCSR.

  Our members among Top Employers of 2021

  Swedbank was ranked Top Employer 2021 and also the best employer in the financial sector according to survey conducted by CV-Online. SEB bank, Citadele banka, Luminor Latvija were also named among top 5 in the financial sector. airBaltic won the title in the transport and logistics sector and Premier Restaurants Latvia was declared the 5th best employer in the public catering sector. MikroTik was the 3rd popular in the production sector, Accenture ranked 3rd best in two categories - IT and telecommunications and the international business.

  €1650 raised for charities in the Independence Day Picnic

  In total EUR 1650 were raised for AmCham's principal charities during this year's U.S. Independence Day`s Celebration: Bezvests.lv, Children's Hospital Foundation, Latvian Foster Family Association, Pink Train Foundation, RMHC Latvija Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages. As a result, many children in Latvia will receive free healthcare services, a family-based support as well as will support women affected by breast cancer and families of missing people.
