McHappy Day is the annual McDonald's charity event, during which customers can support the Care Mobile. Last year Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija (RHMC Latvija) received 23 957 euros that will provide 958 free medical exams to Latvian children.
This year campaign was more interactive with the focus on clients. The motto of the campaign was "Share the Smile". There was an application in McDonald's Facebook page http://bit.ly/McDsmaids, where people can upload photos with their special "smile", which were provided at McDonald's restaurants. For every picture uploaded, McDonald's donated 1 Euro for the support of RMHC Latvija Care Mobile work.
At all McDonald's restaurants, there were also special key pendants on sale, and proceeds will be added to the total donation. The McHappy Day event was held on the 29th of November, with special activities at each restaurant.
