Jan 23, 2019

On January 23, AmCham Board and Staff came together for a semi-annual strategic meeting to decide upon Chamber's direction and priorities for 2019 at Hotel Bergs.

The Board meets twice a year outside its monthly meetings for a focused, strategic session to set the future direction and review the Chamber's performance.

The board approved the following key priority areas for this year:

3) Improving the investment and business climate in Latvia with a focus on the new Whistleblowers' Law introduction and monitoring the progress of the Latvian financial sector.

The board also decided to introduce new event for members by establishing an educational program "AmCham Academy" to improve professional skills and offer training for members.
