On the morning of June 15, AmCham members had the opportunity to visit the State Revenue Service. There they were provided with a meeting with Director General of the State Revenue Service Ilze Cīrule, a tour through the new headquarters of the State Revenue Service, and a seminar on taxes, EDS and data security. Previous to the event, members were encouraged to submit a question pertinent to their business. State Revenue Service representatives addressed these questions in their presentation. Members in turn engaged in a thoughtful Q&A in which State Revenue Service representatives shed light on some lingering uncertainties.

On January 12 AmCham hosted a business luncheon with the new Director General of the State Revenue Service Ilze Cīrule, which was her first public presentation on the new SRS strategy. Per AmCham members' request, SRS kindly agreed to host us at the headquarters this visit and seminar.
