FICIL's High Council meeting took place on 29-30 May this year. FICIL's working groups proposed position papers with recommendations in several areas, including tax and tax administration, macroeconomic policy, investment security, health system efficiency and intellectual property protection.

In order to mark he 18th High Council meeting with the Government of Latvia FICIL held a reception on 29 May at the Gold Hall of the Riga Latvian Society House. The reception was organized for FICIL members, High Council delegates, representatives from the government and ministries, embassies as well as representatives of foreign chambers of commerce, the Latvian Employers' Confederation and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
