Through three AmCham events this year we have raised EUR 3800 to support charities that help promote healthy development of Latvia's children, their rights to grow up in family environment as well as women who are affected by breast cancer and families of missing people:

• On December 5 at Christmas Charity Reception EUR 1350 were collected in benefit of our four principal charities: Bezvests.lv, Latvian Foster Family Association, RMHC Latvija (Care Mobile) and SOS Children's Villages in Latvia.
• During the U.S. Independence Day Picnic in July EUR 1900 of proceeds were collected to support the work of Latvian Foster Family Association, RMHC Latvija's Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages in Latvia.
• EUR 585 were collected during the joint charity event -  Bingo evening, organized by AmCham and Britcham on May 16, to support the breast cancer carity Pink Train Foundation.

As a result many children in Latvia will be able to receive free healthcare services and family-based support.
