BITE Latvija has completed a €500,000 infrastructure upgrade while starting a data center expansion and launch. As a result of the project, BITE has installed the latest Nokia communication infrastructure devices, increasing network 10-fold. In addition, the upgrade has enhanced the availability, continuity and security of ICT services for customers of the BITE One IT concept.
The company also confirms the start of a new data centre being built in Lithuania, in line with increasing data storage security requirements.
"In a time of crisis, when robust ICT solutions play a crucial role in maintaining business operations or re-profiling processes, we as a service provider must ensure a flexible, versatile and individual approach, able to provide support even in non-standard cases," said Kaspars Buls, chief operating officer, BITE Latvija.
"By developing the infrastructure for the BITE One IT service concept, we have increased its ability to adapt to a variety of needs, including cloud services, virtual private networking, video streaming, Internet and data transmission, and other services."
"The new data centre in Lithuania will ensure double data security in cases where the data centre in Latvia is affected by disruptions."
We re-affirm our commitment to the values that AmCham stands for and that we share.
