During the last 7 months, Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija (RMHC Latvija) children's "Care Mobile” program team has made 66 trips and provided 2 890 medical consultations to 2 465 children in 41 different locations across Latvia and 105 medical consultations have been provided to 79 Ukrainian children currently residing in Latvia.  

RMHC Latvija mission is to secure the availability of services that directly impact the health and well-being of children in Latvia.

The annual goal of the children’s “Care Mobile” is to provide 5 000 timely, off-site and free of charge medical consultations for 4 000 children closer to their homes in Latvia.

The children's Care Mobile is a specially equipped vehicle in which qualified medical specialists go on off-site visits to all regions of Latvia. It has two doctor's offices, one of which is specially equipped with all the necessary diagnostic equipment for ophthalmologist consultations and is officially registered as a medical institution in Latvia.

The children’s Care Mobile team is made up of 20 doctors from 11 different specialities ophthalmologist, optometrists, otolaryngologists, pediatric allergologists, pediatric neurologist, physical and rehabilitation therapists, pediatric endocrinologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, speech therapist, dermatologist un pediatric surgeon/orthopaedist.
