Children Hospital Foundation involves volunteers to help Ukrainians

May 30, 2022

Within the framework of the project "Assistance of the Children's Hospital Foundation, involving voluntary human resources to help Ukrainian families with children", Children Hospital Foundation is organizing a donation campaign, as well as involving volunteers to effectively provide and coordinate such services as:

  • healthcare services and social services for children;
  • transport to and from a medical institution;
  • professional psycho-emotional support;
  • accommodation for families whose children are treated in the Children's Hospital;
  • other types of practical support, after which refugee families and those residents of Latvia who have received refugees turn to Children Hospital Foundation.

The financial support provided by the project and the volunteers involved strengthen Children Hospital Foundation's capacity to act as a facilitator. Thanks to the funds donated during the campaign and the charity concert "Helping to raise" that was also implemented with the help of volunteers, Children Hospital Foundation can cover the state's unpaid healthcare services, including ABA therapy, medicines and transport expenses.

The project is implemented by the Children Hospital Foundation together with the Society Integration Fund and financed by the Society Integration Fund from the state budget.
