The Latvian Foster Family Association kindly asks you to support its annual campaign "School children must go to school" to help orphaned and abandoned children prepare for the new school year. The cost of supporting one child is 10.00 EUR (notebooks, exercise books, paint, brushes, pencils, pens, glue, etc.). The total cost of the campaign is 3000.00 EUR.

Latvian Foster Family Association (Latvijas Audžuģimeņu biedrība) is a non-governmental organization, founded in 1994 with the objective of promoting raising orphans or children left without parental care in a family environment. The Association is comprised of 216 families with 356 children from different regions of Latvia.

Families with children under guardianship receive only € 45.53 per month for childcare funds, while the state or local government spends more than € 700.00 per month per child in an orphanage), therefore it is important to support those families as much as possible.
