Citadele Bank has extended the deadline for applications related to the pre-delivery of euros until October 21 due to the activity of retail and service companies in this regard.

"Companies have been able to apply for the pre-delivery of euros since the beginning of July," says Citadele board member Kaspars Cikmačs. "During the last month, the activity of businesspeople has increased to a considerable degree, and we see that many entrepreneurs are still thinking about how many euros they will need. For that reason, we have extended the deadline for these applications until October 21 of this year."

Applications for the pre-delivery of euros can be submitted by E-mail priekspiegade@citadele.lv, by ringing +371-6710-7303, or by filling out an application on the Citadele homepage, www.citadele.lv. Before contacting the bank, the businessperson must know how many euro banknotes and coins he or she will need at the beginning of next year, also thinking about the denominations of the banknotes and coins. Businesspeople must also inform the bank about the address to which the currency is to be delivered.
