Delna invites you to join their online conference "Corruption – a Threat to National and Global Security" on 8 December 2023, one day before the UN International Anti-Corruption Day, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hotel Rīdzene.

The conference is organized by "Transparency International LATVIA" (Delna) and the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau. The working language of the event is Latvian and English, with simultaneous interpretation.

What can we do in Latvia today to see significant progress in the fight against corruption in ten years? What are today's challenges and future opportunities? Latvia's results in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index falls significantly short of what was expected in Latvia's National Development Plan (to reach 64 points in 2024). Over the last six years, Latvia's indicator has improved only by 1 point, reaching 59 points.
