Direct line to American business

Apr 06, 2013
As part of the U.S. Department of State's economic statecraft initiative, embassies worldwide have launched an informational series called Direct Line to American Business. These programs allow businesses to speak directly to the U.S. Ambassador and business sector experts in any country. U.S. Embassy Riga has used a webinar format to connect with small and medium enterprises interested in the Latvian market. AmCham members have been active supporters of the program by participating as guest speakers on their sectors. The videos of the previous events can be viewed online:

Business and Investment Climate
IT and Shared Services
Transportation and Logistics

For information on upcoming events hosted by U.S. Embassy Riga and other U.S. embassies around the world, please visit this website and subscribe to Direct Line updates. The next event hosted by U.S. Embassy Riga will focus on Latvia's energy sector. It will take place on May 15. Those interested can register for the event here.
