Getting society better prepared for the future

Cognizant Latvia held a very special charity day - The Day of Joy (Prieka Diena 7) on August 1st to support children in need.

Employees of Cognizant Latvia participated in this day to dedicated their time for children by drifting, go-karting and of course introduction of some IT and technology activities that all children enjoyed.

The Day of Joy in numbers:

  • 200 kids;
  • 300+ people; 
  • 50+ volunteers and supporters;
  • 4+ drift hours and 100+ tires burnt bold;
  • 10+ motorbikes;
  • 3+ hours of go-karts;
  • 20+ kg of cake. 

Everyone who attended this event had a chance to be a passenger in the real drift car, compete in go-karts, ride on a motorbike, learn how to program, do flashcards, experience the world of virtual reality, and many other memorable things.
