As the school year approaches, the Latvian Foster Family Association is launching their annual charity campaign, “School children must go to school.” The objective of the campaign is to help children living with guardians and foster families prepare for their first school year by donating backpacks and other necessary school supplies, like notebooks, pencils, pens, and glue. This year, 302 children need our help.

The Association encourages companies to participate by preparing donations and delivering them to the Association’s Office at Mazā Klijānu 5. Of course, personal donations are encouraged and appreciated as well. 

The Latvian Foster Family Association is a non-governmental with the goal to foster support and promote family environments for orphans or children left without parental care. This year it will celebrate its 30 year anniversary,  being founded in 1994.
