Oct 31, 2019
Latvian American Eye Center (LAAC) has invested more than a million EUR in the purchase of vision correction equipment as well as the training of doctors. Two laser devices - an excimer laser and a femtosecond laser - are required for full vision laser correction. The new Carl Zeiss laser range of VisuMax and MEL 90 lasers will give patients the choice of 4 laser correction methods - LASIK, Tran-Epi LASIK or PRK, Femto-LASIK and SMILE.

"More than 100 patients come to the clinic every day, and each of them need an individual type of vision correction. There is great interest in various options of vision correction, and we are confident that the investment in development the clinic's innovations will pay off," says Una Brūna, Member of the Board of LAAC.

More than 20 eye and vision specialists - ophthalmologists and optometrists work for LAAC.
