The Latvian Foster Family Association was founded in 1994 with the objective to promote raising orphans or children left without parental care in a family environment. It is comprised of 202 families with 419 children from different regions of Latvia. As every year the Association holds the campaign "Christmas Angels" and welcomes both financial and in-kind donations to support the children in foster care.
