For the tenth year in a row, Luminor is supporting the charity marathon "Dod Pieci" (High Five!). This year they have donated 14,000 euros to give children and young people the opportunity to escape from an unfavorable environment and provide assistance to create a better and safer future.

From December 1 to 21, the bank invites you to donate by exchanging a song to play on www.dodpieci.lv. As usual, the songs will be played on Latvijas Radio 5 and on pieci.lv during the charity marathon.

From December 1 to 21, cash and non-cash donations can also be made at the charity marathon glass studio in Riga Old Town, Dome Square. You can also donate outside Riga – at all Circle K gas stations.

"Children and youngsters are our future, but unfortunately we don't always notice and hear what they encounter on a daily basis. Every seventh child in Latvia is at risk of developing behavioral disorders and several thousand young people already have various behavioral disorders caused by an unfavorable environment, which they most often did not choose themselves. Therefore, we believe that our common responsibility is not to be indifferent, to reach out, to listen and support children and youngsters at risk without prejudice, because they provide hope and faith for a safer future for us," says Kerli Vares, Head of Luminor Bank in Latvia.
