Medtronic joins AmCham

Oct 29, 2019

Medtronic BV representative office has joined the Chamber as a Corporate member.

Making healthcare better is the company's priority, and they believe medical technology can play an even greater role in improving people's lives. With challenges facing families and healthcare systems - such as rising costs, aging populations, and the burden of chronic disease - they are using the power of technology to take healthcare further, together.

Innovation and collaboration are central to who they are. Since the late 1940s, they have been working with others to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Today, the company is a medical technology leader, employing more than 84,000 people worldwide, and offering therapies and solutions that enable greater efficiency, access, and value - for healthcare systems, providers, and the people they serve.

In the Chamber it will be represented by Aurelijus Valintėlis, Country Manager.

Aurelijus Valintėlis, Country Manager: "We are excited to become a member of the family where all are using the highest business ethical standards. At the same time, we will be happy to contribute to better healthcare of Latvian citizens."
