In February 28, “Bite Latvija”, a telecommunications and ICT services provider owned by the U.S. private equity investment fund “Providence Equity Partners”, expanded its regional presence by opening a new office in Jelgava, creating 130 new workplaces. With this expansion, the company now provides 280 workplaces across its two regional offices in Jelgava and Rēzekne. Over the next five years, “Bite Latvija” will invest more than €33 million in salaries, employee benefits, and infrastructure, significantly boosting the local economy and labor market. The opening event was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Latvia Christopher Robinson, along with key Latvian government and municipal representatives, emphasizing the critical role of U.S. investors in regional economic development.
