Microsoft awards best partners

During the Microsoft Partner Conference six Latvian IT companies received The Partner Excellence Award 2013 at the beginning of October. The conference brought together nearly 200 Microsoft partners from all over Latvia. The participants were introduced within the service updates, topical Microsoft business partners and support options for Windows 8.1 and other innovations of Microsoft technology.

Like every year, the main aim of the conference was to mark success, to outline the future ways of cooperation and figure out the latest industry trends, as well as to explore Microsoft's latest products and solutions in the overall strengthening of the cooperation. "This year is significant by the transition to Microsoft's devices and business services as well as a by marking a clear four-Microsoft operating directions - cloud computing, mobility, big data, and social media in an enterprise environment. We are pleased that, thanks to Microsoft Latvia bushy number of partners that has exceeded more than 650, including 81 gold and silver, we have opportunities to develop all the basic operations of Microsoft,", emphasized Country Manager of Microsoft Latvia Eriks Eglitis.

DPA has received the title - Partner of the Year "Software asset management (SAM)." As the first active SAM Latvian partner DPA has not only included the SAM services in the range of services less than a year, but also has successfully performed a number of SAM audits, thereby helping customers to control IT costs, optimize existing resources by providing recommendations to the IT development within the company.

Belam-Riga received the award in the category "Office 365 Partner" and has won the first Latvian Cloud Accelarate status - signed the largest Office 365 deal with the largest number of customers. "Belam team is grateful to Microsoft for Latvia's acknowledgment and is looking for a positive cooperation in the future. We can be pleased with the progress made in implementing Office 365 for Latvian clients such as Food Union and Latvian Association of Local Union. We are determined to continue to work on the cloud service implementation and promotion as well as the future projects in the field of telecommunications and business solutions to promote the overall development of the IT industry and to contribute to the Latvian economy, " says Chairman of Belam-Riga Mark Katz.
