New Chef and offers of Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga

Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga welcomes the new Executive Chef Javier Lopez, who has joined the Riga team since May 2021. Javier will be overseeing the hotel’s culinary experience, including the rooftop bar and restaurant Stage 22, Amber Restaurant, the Lobby Lounge, the Grand Bar, In-room Dining, and Catering and Banqueting for special events.

Javier is no stranger to Riga, having worked for three years in the Latvian capital from 2008 to 2011 and also assisted in the pre-opening of Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga in 2017. Learn more about Javier's life story and professional experience HERE

As of June 15, the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga has fully intensified the operation of Kempinski The Spa and restaurants in accordance with the current epidemiological safety measures in Latvia.

From June 15, people who have been vaccinated against or have been ill with Covid-19 have an opportunity to visit Kempinski The Spa's wellness facilities, including a fitness center, wet areas and receive spa treatments and massages without using face masks and without keeping 2 meters distance.

At the same time two restaurants - the Bar & Restaurant STAGE 22 on the 8th floor and the restaurant AMBER on the ground floor are serving all day dining experiences, both indoors and outdoors.

In the Restaurant AMBER the hotel invites taste the BUSINESS LUNCH offer, which changes every week and is available already since 7 June.
