Outlining benefits of digital health

Aug 18

Recently, the Digital Health Strategy by 2029 has been approved by the government. The Digital Health Council has indicated in the developed strategy that the full transition to the digital environment should take place by 2029. AmCham Healthcare group representative Ieva Dzirkale explains why digital health is of utmost importance in the article of Delfi versijas.

AmCham presented a supportive stance in the development of Digital Health strategy by:

  • Clearly defining priorities and responsible organizations with a timeframe for implementing the agreed scope of developing a sustainable digital health environment in Latvia.
  • Interoperability and standardization of health data within Latvia's Digital Health ecosystem to facilitate secondary data usage.
  • Enhancing the user experience of the Digital Health ecosystem to support users rather than create additional challenges.
