From May 12-16, AmChams in Europe (ACE) U.S. Delegation, consisting of 47 representatives of 30 AmChams, traveled to Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C. for a series of meetings focused on reinforcing the transatlantic business dialogue. From policy roundtables to industry site visits, the program spotlighted the enduring values and mutual interests at the heart of the transatlantic alliance. AmCham Latvia was represented at the conference by Liga Smildzina-Bertulsone, Executive Director.

A Partnership of Impact
The scale and significance of the U.S.–EU economic relationship are undeniable:
These figures represent more than just economic exchange – they underscore the tangible benefits of a partnership grounded in shared values and long-term collaboration.
Beyond policy and commerce, the delegation fostered meaningful reflection and cross-cultural understanding. Throughout the week, the contrast between American directness and European analytical approaches emerged not as obstacles, but as complementary strengths—enhancing dialogue, creativity, and problem-solving.
I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.
