At the beginning of May, Riga Toastmaster Club elected new officers for the 2015-2016 term. 

Līga Piebalga was elected the President of the board. David Stasun was selected to be the VP of Education. Jekaterina Kezika took up the position of the VP of Membership. Kristīne Kamerade was appointed to the position of the VP of Public Relations. Maksim Scadko was elected the Treasurer. Animesh Tripathi was selected to be the Secretary. Nadezda Malarenko took up the position of the Sergeant-at-Arms. Jānis Blaus was elected the Web Master.

"It has been a great year for Riga Toastmasters", said Anna Reynolds, the out-going President of RTM. "Together with the other Baltic clubs, we petitioned Toastmasters International to be accepted as a part of District 95, the Northern European district, and were accepted. When the new board starts working on July 1st, they will need to take into consideration both the new opportunities and new accountability that comes with being full districted members of Toastmasters International. I have full confidence that our new leaders will do an excellent job! Our club is thriving."
