On June 4, during its Town Hall meeting for members, AmCham EU connected with Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President for an Economy that Works for People, European Commission.

The Executive Vice-President shared his insights on the COVID-19 emergency. He highlighted that national lockdowns are affecting world trade, hitting transatlantic supply chains as well as EU-US investment flows. He also emphasized that open markets and trade opportunities are the best way to revitalize the economy.
