TV3 Group supports campaign "Angels over Latvia"

Dec 12, 2022

TV3 Group Latvija in cooperation with the Children's Hospital Foundation is organizing the most sincere charity campaign "Angels over Latvia" for the 15th time, calling to help 187 children throughout Latvia, whose treatment requires a total of 464,222.31 euros. During the campaign, several special activities will take place to unite the community for a common goal and give everyone the opportunity to apply angel wings by helping children with health problems.

"The campaign "Angels over Latvia" brings together people from all corners of our country every year with one goal - to help those for whom it is really important. Looking back at what we have done in previous years, we can see how many families we have been able to lend a helping hand and how many children's lives have acquired a completely different quality after the support they received. These success stories allow us to gain confidence that we are on the right track," said Mindaugas Rakauskas, Head of TV3 Group Latvia.

The amount of the donation is made up of the costs required for children with various health problems, the treatment of which lacks state funding - help for children with autistic spectrum disorders, movement disorders, help in emergency cases and in cases of hospital need (neurology).

The annual call center starts working on December 12, while on December 18 at 8:30 p.m., the culmination of the campaign will take place with a charity concert in Riga Town Hall Square (Rātslaukums).
