JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra launched the new Valmiera Glass USA Corp. factory on the 16 ha big land at the Industrial park, Dublin, Georgia, Laurens County on March 26, 2015. About 7.4 thousand square meters big factory will produce glass fibre products with high added value for the North America market.

Accompanied by Nathan Deal, Governor of Georgria, USA, the cornerstone for a new fibre glass production facility has been laid in Dublin, Georgia on July, 28th 2014.

Valmiera Glass USA Corp. locates on 40-acres in an Industrial Park on I-16 in Dublin, Ga. The approximately 80,000-square-foot (~7.4 Thousand square-meter) facility will manufacture higher, value-added glass fibre products for the North American market.

Alongside the construction work JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra has established another subsidiary company in the United States of America - Valmiera Glass Trading USA Corp. The main purpose of this formation will be Valmiera Glass Group productions sale in United States of America.

Both in USA newly created companies are also recognized as the JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra asset since 13th August 2014 and their shares had been taken in accounting of JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra.

In five years in Valmiera Glass USA Corp. factory will be created 150 workplaces and investments will be made in the amount of USD 20 Million, including USD 6.5 Million investing in the first new factory phase.
