BEZVESTS.LV, the only volunteer organization providing missing persons search in Latvia since 2009, has found 142 people in more than 2000 search operations.  They have a team of more than 180 volunteers, consisting of telephone center staff, a thermal camera group, cynologists with trained search dogs, divers, drone operators, and search instructors, group coordinators. 

BEZVESTS.LV is proud of its team consisting of professionals who during those numerous years of conducting search operations have been evaluated by both the community and police officers who are frequently looking for cooperation.

Recently BEZVESTS.LV has organized the following search operations and introduced new devices:

• The search operation was organized after the request of the State Police where a young woman who has left their two kids was missing. The team found her, but unfortunately, she was not alive. Despite the tragic outcome, it was a relief for their family.
• Another operation was near Usmas Lake where the lost person was found very promptly
• New devices were introduced with the help of supporter - LNK Industries.

At the moment the organization has three search devices, however, they need at least 10 devices to become more efficient in their search operations, cover transportation costs and maintain their existing equipment.
