Google, a technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, has recently joined the Chamber as a Corporate member. Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

In Latvia, Google has launched various programs to help businesses and individuals grow in the digital world. One of the most prominent initiatives is Digital Garage, free online training courses designed to gain today’s most in-demand skills in data and technology, digital marketing and career development. Google.org, a philanthropic arm of Google, has also supported Riga TechGirls to improve women’s digital skills and start their careers in tech.

Since 2016, Google has helped more than 10.000 professionals and businesses via various programs.

In the Chamber it will be represented by Paulius Vertelka, Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager.
