On January 24th, Susan Danger, CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham EU), has been elected as Chair of the AmChams in Europe network. AmChams in Europe is the umbrella organisation for 45 American Chambers of Commerce from 43 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia. It represents the interests of more than 17,000 American and European companies employing 20 million workers.
In her role as Chair of AmChams in Europe, Susan Danger aims to continue to engage and speak out in exceptional and turbulent times for the transatlantic relationship. Building on over two decades of experience, she aims to strengthen collaboration between European and transatlantic partners at a time where bringing business, government and civil society together has never been more important.
Susan Danger, CEO, AmCham EU and Chair, AmChams in Europe said: "Both of my roles will allow me to focus on building bridges across the whole of Europe but also between the two sides of the Atlantic. I hope I can contribute to bringing the voice of business to a wider audience on issues such as diversity, the future of work and the transatlantic business environment."
She added: "I aim to strengthen the collaboration amongst our Chambers. Together we can further promote the bilateral voice of American and European companies, while communicating the importance of the transatlantic economy in both Europe and the United States."
I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.
