AmCham looks back at a succesful year amid crisis
AmCham held its 27th Annual General Meeting to review the past year’s activities, elect the Board of Directors and make other important decisions for the business continuity. U.S. Ambassador Carwile opened the meeting with remarks, stressing the importance of AmCham's advocacy activities and the close cooperation between the Embassy and AmCham in the last year. AmCham President Ingrida Karina-Berzina stepped down after 7 years of service. We are extremely grateful to Ingrida for her strong commitment and leadership! We welcome Dita Sile of Novartis as the newest addition to our Board and congratulate Liene Dubava, George Miu and Renate Strazdina on re-election! To see the current Board.

AmCham supports Latvian government in efforts to moderate the impact of the virus
AmCham fully supports the strong and decisive action taken by the Latvian government to moderate the impact of the spread of COVID-19. On March 19, AmCham sent a letter to the government and the Saeima Economic Commission calling to implement comprehensive measures in the area of fiscal, monetary, sectoral, employment and social policies to minimize the negative impact on the economy.
