25 members joined the webinar with Janis Klovins, Director of Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre and Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Latvia to find out more on the coronavirus research progress and potential outcomes. The Covid-19 Crisis and Economic Recovery in Europe
Thanks to ACE Network our members had an opportunity to join the first-ever online discussion on the topic of the COVID-19 crisis and how businesses across Europe and Eurasia are responding to challenges. Speakers outlined top key issues to focus on: solidarity, mental strength, and stability, good leadership, bravery, the cooperation of science and politics, and resilience.

SEB joins the Finance Latvia moratorium for business loan
Business customers of SEB who face a temporary liquidity challenges because of the COVID-19 pandemic will have the opportunity to defer the principle payments on the loan for an even longer period than before. SEB joins the loan moratorium for companies developed jointly by Finance Latvia and its members. This will allow the loan principal, including the lease, to be deferred for up to six months.

Delna promotes transparency in public procurement
In April Delna has been very active by promoting greater transparency in the use of COVID-19 related emergency funding and allocation of emergency contracts. On April 2 Delna published ten recommendations for preventing corruption and on April 19 organized a discussion titled "COVID-19 and Transparent Public Procurement".

Citadele employees will receive health insurance in case of Covid-19
In the case of Covid-19, Citadele employees will receive special health insurance provided by Citadele in cooperation with the insurance company Aon Baltic. Special insurance will supplement the range of paid health care services already provided to employees.
