On January 10, members met with Viktors Valainis, Minister of Economy to discuss ministerial priorities and ways to improve the business environment in Latvia. The Minister touched upon the role of investment and identified the next steps to increase the country’s competitiveness. The Minister shared the main areas for the implementation of the human capital development strategy. Members had the opportunity to ask their questions to the Minister and take part in a lively discussion on what AmCham can do to support the Minister's priorities. The discussion was moderated by Ieva Racenaja, AmCham Vice President.
