Klavins Ellex
A Look at Latvia’s Investment Environment in an era of Global Turbulence

Having been involved in numerous high-profile investment projects in Latvia since 1992, the team of Klavins Ellex has witnessed how foreign investors’ opinion of the investment environment in Latvia has evolved over the years. Certain issues that were crucial more than 20 years ago are still unresolved, whereas new geopolitical challenges are making the current investment climate difficult. Raimonds Slaidins will review the key economic and legal issues impacting the investment environment in Latvia, as well as steps that could be taken to improve this environment during a time when the only constant is the continuous change of external factors facing Latvia.

Nordea
Global Economy Trends

This time in Latvia and in the world is a challenge to the full. From "Brexit" to the astounding results of the U.S. presidential election - the economic and financial market analysis is becoming increasingly important, especially in terms of investment and the sense of security in the future. About those topical issues and more in the Nordea's presentation. Responsibilities of Nordea Markets Economist and Senior Sales Manager Gints Belevics include research and reports on various topics related to the economy: market of raw materials, external trade, consumer prices, actual statistics of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) and macroeconomics.

Feedback

AmCham works hard to accomplish its goals and is a voice in the business community that is heard.

Filips Klavins, Managing Partner at Ellex Klavins

I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.
