I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.

On October 30, AmCham members were invited to an evening of networking that was kindly hosted by our member Accenture Latvia at their new premises at New Teika, Teo office. Prior to the event, a masterclass on the Agile project and the team management method "To change is to grow" was offered by Toms Rusovs, Accenture Agile coach in Latvia.
The guests were greeted by Jānis Paksis, Accenture Delivery Lead who offered an overview of the company's structure, services, main markets and business approach. Ivo Almanis, Accenture Industry Lead for Communications, Media and Technology gave an insight into Accenture's innovation projects. According to both presenters, being Agile is the ability to create an environment that is open-minded, flexible and adaptive to dynamic changes as they are more prone to respond to the demands of the changing global IT and labor markets.
Following the presentations guests had the opportunity to join a tour around Accenture's new office.
The event was complemented by the traditional raffle. We are grateful to Accenture Latvia for a fabulous and educational networking evening with delicious waffles, food and wine!
I would highly recommend membership to other professionals looking to expand their business connections.
