Today is the key moment to demonstrate the values we share with AmCham and support like-minded businesses

AmCham hosted another great Christmas party this year filled with music and joy. The event started in front of the Big Christmas tree at the Bergs Bazaar with opening remarks of AmCham Vice President Aleksis Karlsons and our guests who enjoyed the Christmas carols in performance of the ensemble from Valmieras SOS Children’s Villages. It warmed our hearts and our souls. After the glass of mulled wine and gingerbread guests were invited to the Glass room of Hotel Bergs where the celebration continued.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy Caryn R. McClelland who gave a short speech along with AmCham President Ivars Slokenbergs.
This year we supported our member SOS Children’s Villages in Latvia with charity raffle during the event. This time our members donated more than 600 lats and two of our members – AON Baltic and Baltic Technology Group donated money directly to SOS Children’s Villages in Latvia.
The possibility to meet children from SOS Children`s Villages and to hear them singing was a heart touching moment. It was a very special event and got us into the real Christmas spirit. Our sing along continued far into the night and we felt so overwhelmed with Christmas spirit.
Many thanks to Hotel Bergs for hosting us! And most importantly, thank you to all our members for their continued support throughout this past year!
Thanks to our supporters for wonderful charity raffle prizes provided particularly for this event. Our gratitude goes to Hotel Bergs, Dome Hotel & SPA, Remedica, Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija, Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel, D’Vine Bar, Skrivanek Baltic, Latvian American Eye Center, Everita Romule Design, Latvijas Balzams who made this event special.
