On April 12 members met with Andris Spruds, Minister of Defense of Latvia, to discuss the current defense situation in Latvia and the world during a work luncheon. 

The Minister provided insights into strengthening partnerships with NATO allies, enabling Latvia’s defense capabilities and proactive responses to threats, and building a strong defense industry to face emerging challenges and further stability and peace in the region. Navigating a dynamic security landscape demands a clear defense vision and commitment to cooperation among the NATO member states.
