AmCham held an online meeting with Edgars Rinkevics, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia who shared his insights on Latvia’s foreign policy in a post-pandemic world.
The Minister outlined the EU's priorities that offer a new growth potential - the Green Deal and digitalization - and he pointed out the importance of the Cohesion Policy and the Common Agricultural Policy in promoting economic growth and recovery.
He emphasized that the economic recovery stimulus package should be accessible for all Member States and support it provides should be based on an objective assessment of the economic situation.
