Pan-Baltic discussion on energy: How cold will the winter be?

Dec 08 from 11:00 till 13:00

The current enegy crisis, stemming from a complicated set of factors, has resulted in price spikes, driving up inflation and threatening economic recovery. Heading into winter, Europe faces higher utility bills, more expensive products and looming risks of slowdown in economic growth.

Energy security - affordable and uninterrupted access to energy - is undergoing rapid transformation. The lack of coordinated aproach toward energy security challenges means greater geolpolitical risks and undermines further energy system integration in the EU.

AmChams in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania invite members to join an online event to discuss the current challenges facing the EU and Baltic energy market.

The panel discussion will adress energy security and transition to low carbon energy sources.

  • What should the EU do to ensure collective energy security policy?
  • Is decarbonization threatening Europe’s energy security?
  • How can Baltic countries better coordinate their approach to foster resilience of the energy sector?

Admission is complimentary, but registration is mandatory for members of AmCham Latvia, AmCham Estonia, AmCham Lithuania and representatives and guests from the EU Commission.

Please register below. Registrations are open until Tuesday 7th of December, 18:00.
