AmCham members donate in a true Christmas spirit

On December 6, AmCham hosted its Annual Christmas Charity reception on the 27th floor of the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija. The event was hosted by AmCham President Arnis Kakulis.

More than 60 AmCham members spent a joyful evening in a Christmas spirit thanks to Christmas songs performed by Valmiera SOS Children's Villages ansamble as well as the barbershop quartet "Harmonija Rīgai".

Traditionally, the most important part of our Christmas reception is devoted to supporting our three principal charities: Latvian Foster Family AssociationRonald McDonald House Charities Latvija (Care Mobile) and SOS Children's Villages in LatviaWe have worked with these organizations for many years now, and we highly value their work in providing healthy development of children and youth in Latvia. During the evening AmCham held a charity raffle raising EUR 1020 for these organizations. We encourage our members to continue their support to these organizations throughout the year as well. There are many ways to do that – through financial or in-kind donation or by becoming a volunteer.

The charity raffle would not be possible without our generous sponsors.
