What lies ahead for AI regulation?

On April 8 the work group gathered for the third meeting to discuss the directions and activities as well as to get an update on the AI legislation. Members agreed to work on an educational event on digital affairs and AI in the form of a seminar or webinar. During the meeting, Edvijs Zandars of Ellex Klavins presented an update on the AI Act and outlined the timeline and adoption in Europe and individual member states.
All members were invited to the AI-related event Gen AI in Banking and Insurance: a review of practical use cases on May 14, co-hosted by Cognizant.
