In order to improve the oncology patient registry in Latvia, AmCham together with the Ministry of Health, National Health Service, Center for Disease Prevention and Control, healthcare professionals and doctors from the largest hospitals of Latvia organized a design thinking workshop to define business needs of key stakeholders on August 27.

At the end of 2019, AmCham Healthcare work group came up with several proposals including a specific pilot project "Oncology data registry: real world evidence from dead-end to highway" addressing issues such as inaccessibility of real-world data that complicates decision-making both in planning of the services and patient treatment.
