New management at FICIL

The Foreign Investors' Council in Latvia (FICIL) announced a new Chairperson and Vice Chairman of the Board on September 3. Enrique Garcia (CEMEX), the previous Chairman, and Gunnar Carlson (SEB banka) have been moved from Latvia by their employers with the result that they have been obliged to surrender their Board positions.
Zlata Elksniņa-Zaščirinska, PricewaterhouseCoopers, will serve as the Chairperson of the FICIL Board until the next FICIL AGM. Ivars Slokenbergs, AmCham representative, will serve as a Vice Chairman together with Ginta Cimdiņa, Fortum.
