Christmas Charity Reception

Over 60 members joined this year's annual Christmas Charity reception to kick-off the holiday season and raised €2600 to charities benefitting Latvia's children's health and well-being: Children’s Hospital FoundationLatvian Foster Family AssociationRonald McDonald House Charities in Latvija, Pink Train Foundation and SOS Children's Villages. It was also a great opportunity to look back at this year and award the most active members: BluOr Bank, Cognizant, McDonald’s and Novartis.

Guests gathered at the Christmas tree for the lighting of the tree outside Hotel Bergs and later moved inside where they were greeted by John Tully, AmCham President who opened the event and Liga Smildzina-Bertulsone, Executive Director gave a short overview of AmCham performance in 2023 and conducted the charity raffle.

Christmas carols were performed by students from the International School of Latvia.
